US Patent 2694333

This is one of the most recent patents for a player harmonica, issued in 1954 to Vincent A. Costello, of Fredonia, New York. This design was made commercially (in bright red plastic!) by the Nor-Cos Corporation of Easton, Maryland. Easton was the home of the PlaRola Corporation and one of the PlaRola's patent numbers (1813337) is to be found on the Nor-Cos Pocket Organ. Easton is also quite close to Baltimore, birthplace of the Rolmonica, but I do not know of any definite link between them.
